The introduction of online registration/payment for AirVorne Volleyball has been a huge success and continues to be throughout the season. Many of the players have found that this process has made registration easier for them especially when they can establish their schedule for the weekend and not worry about whether they got into the tournament or not. Online registration/payment has also made the tournament start schedule easier in the mornings. As far as my duties as tournament director, I am able to set the pools the night before knowing that I have teams that have paid for the tournament. This has definitely made my life easier.

So here are the policies for AirVorne’s online registration/payment:

-Registration for any AirVorne Volleyball events posted on the Event Calendar will open 10 days prior to the date of the event. Once registration is open, it is first come first serve based on availability.

-Online registration with online payment is available and encouraged. After you hit the “Submit” button, it will take you to this page below; located below the information is the option to “Pay Now” online for the event. An email will be sent to me that establishes a date and time when your registration was received. The online registration/payment will then be posted based on the date and time of the email registration. This guarantees your spot in the event.

-Online registration without online payment is available. An email will be sent to me that establishes a date and time when your registration was received. The online registration will then be posted based on the date and time of the email registration. PLEASE NOTE: online registration DOES NOT CONFIRM your spot in the tournament. Be aware that if you are on this list that another team has the right to register and pay online to confirm their spot in the event. So as you can see there is a big advantage with online registration with payment.

-The policy for teams/individuals that pay online and DO NOT SHOW for that event is as follows:

To confirm registration as well as to see who your competition might be, there will be an article posted under “Tournament News”. This will be kept up daily until the event. There will also be a waiting list for those who do not make the list just in case a team/individual cannot make the event. Again, this will be based on the email sent (date and time).
