Virginia Beach – AVP Qualifier: Amber, JB, and Big Rich compete…

She is back and ready to compete for a birth to the Main Event.  Amber Ramga is looking to represent Atlanta again in Virginia Beach at the AVP Qualifier.  It has been since 2007 when she competed full time on the AVP tour.  We here in Atlanta want to wish her the best of luck tomorrow morning.

Amber’s partner and former resident of Atlanta…Jen Bily.  Jen is currently living in the Cayman Islands and competing on the NORCECA tour…for those of you who do not know what NORCECA stands for:  North, Central America and Caribbean Volleyball Confederation…I had to look it up myself.  The last time Jen  played in the AVP Qualifier was back in 2008.

#21 – Ramga / Bily are scheduled to play Match #6 against #12 – Abby Georgy / Kendra Van Zwieten.  Good luck ladies!!!

Last but not least…

Richard O’Keefe who is very familiar with Virginia Beach.  He is no stranger when it comes to competition.  He is playing with long time friend and local to Virginia Beach, Lars Viskochil. The two of them have played in many tournaments together…#44 – O’Keefe / Viskochil combined experience of 89 years (ages added together) and the secret to winning (cold frosty beverages) should get them past their opponents #21 – Erik Gomez / Stephen Keffer (combined experience of 56 years).  Good luck to them and hope that the beverages continue to flow.  Have a couple for me, Big Rich.
