Rules of the Game…do you know what you are talking about??

So who really knows what the rules of Sand Volleyball are?

Let me test you guys out then…

1. So what is the size of the sand court?

2. If a team receiving serve raises their hand, what does that mean?

3. If the fingers are apart during a hit, is that consider a legal hit?

4. Here is a very popular question: the first hit over….”reacted” or “decided”? What does that mean?

5. Wind-blown set…legal or not?

6. Simultaneous contact…what does the team need to do after that?

7. What is the definition of “interference”?

8. Here is one you might not know…is there a pursuit rule?

9. What happens when a joust occurs?

10. Is this line judge pictured below in a correct stance?

To find out more about the Rules of the Game, Steve Kenyon and the AVP officials along with USA Volleyball have a great powerpoint presentation that all volleyball players should review.

See you guys on the courts…
